Financial Review

On handover of Clerk the Chair undertook a review of Scribe records and found two anomalies.  The method of reporting CIL could not be replicated on Scribe as the summariser of income and expenditure does not deal with existing capital.  The Budget approved at may 2024's meeting has therefore been updated to reflect this, and a CIL Reckoner provided to show the amount included in the formal reconciliation which is restricted as CIL. Anyone interested should study the Scribe Summary and note that in Reserves 2 we received about half what we forecast, and have approved spending which we did not forecast.

The second anomaly reflected a simple miss attribution of one payment to a cost centre that we do not use. This was corrected allowing the Scribe Summary to reflect the initial budget.
